Our Founder's Story
George Frangoulis is the Founder and CEO of Maine Business Advocate, a digital and print publication. as well as the founder and CEO of Business Wise, (BusinessWise.online) a bisiness consulting and marketing agency.
George has an extensive background as an entrepreneur, starting, scaling up and selling business. These ventures have included the following:

Business Advising: Business Wise Consulting & Marketing; Business Services: Blue Sails Video Production;

Currently, George is also an Adjunct Professor at Thomas College in Waterville, Maine; he teaches business management, writing and public speaking.
From 1988 to 2016, George was a college professor in Alabama, where he taught media studies and communications, as well as advertising, business management and public relations at the following institutions:

George is a SCORE Mentor, a business advisor for many Maine companies and organizations. He is also a Mentor for the Maine Center for Entrepreneurs, as well as a Mentor and Cultivator Assessment Team member.
